How each side wins

The town wins only by voting out all three. The three win by still being there on the day their count equals everybody else's, and those two jobs are not the same size at all.

So count what each side has to do. The town needs three correct votes, with no shortcut and no credit for finding two. But the three need nothing at all, because they already know everybody who matters to them, and every night takes one town player away for free.

What’s next: the same arithmetic from the other side — what the three are counting while you count votes.
